Solway Lass Whitsunday 3 night cruise itinerary

      
 

3 night Tall Ship sailing of the Whitsunday Islands aboard the 2 masted square rigged Tall Ship Solway Lass.  During your tour Snorkel the Fringing
Coral Reefs which extend right from the islands, swim, bushwalk to scenic lookouts, visit the magnificent Whitehaven Beach. Guests are welcome
to join in and help set the massive sails or just layback and enjoy the sailing experience from a bygone era. While at Anchor, try the tarzan swing,
a unique way to enter the water, relax out in the bow net or enjoy icy cold beer, sunset cocktails or wine from the fully licenced bar.

Day 1 - Check in at our office, Shop 1, 4 The Esplanade Airlie Beach by 4.30pm. After check-in, guests are welcome to leave there luggage in our office, prior to the shuttle transfer to Abel Point Marina. Guests may then explore Airlie Beach, grab a bite to each, enjoy a walk along the beach. Courtesy pickups from Airlie Beach at 6.40pm for transfer to the marina.  Depart the marina at 7.30pm and sail to overnight anchorage.  Light supper is served around 9.30pm. 

Day 2 (B,L,D) - After Breakfast, make way to Tongue Bay for a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout. A spectacular lookout over Whitehaven Beach.  Back on board Solway Lass enjoy lunch before heading around to Whitehaven Beach.  Enjoy an hour on the beach before setting sail and heading north along the eastern side of Hook Island.  Overnight anchor in one of the many bays on Hook Island.  		   
         
  Day 3 (B,L,D) - After Breakfast enjoy snorkelling and/or an optional Scuba Dive on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands.  These reefs are teeming with marine life and the experience is memorable for the snorkelling novice through to seasoned snorkellers.  Enjoy lunch, before sailing off to another anchorage for a second snorkel, swim or simply relax at the beach.  This evening will be spent anchored in Blue Pearl Bay of Hayman Island or in the Langford Reef Area.  Both locations offer spectacular sunset photo opportunities as the Solway Lass is silhouetted against the sunset over the water.      
         
 

6 NIGHT SOLWAY LASS WHITSUNDAY ITINERARY

      
  Day 4 - At 4:30pm, guests on 6 night tour, transfer on our Courtesy Shuttle to Café/Bar in Airlie Beach, meal and drink supplied.  Then at 6.40pm, Courtesy Shuttle transfers back to Solway Lass for 7.30pm Departure.  Depart the marina and sail to overnight anchorage.  Light supper is served around 9.30pm. Note: The Captain will alter the locations and bays visited when we have 6 day guests on-board. Whitehaven Beach and one or two of the Snorkelling spots may be visited twice.     
         
  Day 5 (B,L,D) - After Breakfast, make way to Whitehaven Beach. Spend a few hours relaxing. Enjoy the afternoon Sailing heading past Border Island and to overnight anchorage.      
         
  Day 6 (B,L,D) - After Breakfast enjoy snorkelling and/or an optional Scuba Dive on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands.  Enjoy lunch, before sailing off to another anchorage for a second snorkel, swim or simply relax at the beach.  This evening will be spent anchored in Blue Pearl Bay or Caves Cove or Stonehaven on Hook Island.       
         
  Day 7 (B,L) - After Breakfast enjoy snorkelling, swimming or relaxing on the beach before lunch.  At around 1pm set sail and sail across the Whitsunday Passage arriving back to the marina around 4.00pm with the courtesy shuttle transfer arriving back to Airlie Beach around 4.30pm.  Services end, although many of the guests will meet up with the crew tonight for a meal at a local restaurant in Airlie Beach.
